Old mansion, 11 km from the sea , in a quiet location with beautiful views of the hills with olive groves and vineyards to the sea. Once the residence of the noble Family Marchionneschi , has been renovated and converted into spacious apartments , while retaining the original character of a private home sober and elegant. Villa Elena is located a short walk from the historic center of Guardistallo , characteristic medieval village with small shops, bars , restaurants, banks, pharmacies and so on. The favorable climate , the picturesque Tuscan countryside , the family atmosphere of Villa Elena will devote a very relaxing holiday , with a choice of rest or leisure, sport or culture .

The apartments are located in one different from the Villa and in the near dependences spacious and comfortable , furnished in Tuscan style , with a well-equipped kitchenette , satellite TV, safe, hairdryer. They can have different sizes and accommodate 2 to 6 people .

The two room apartment ( type A) can accommodate up to 4 people. It is composed of : living room with kitchenette and sofa bed for two persons, double bedroom , bathroom.

Three rooms apartment  (type B ) can sleep up to 6 people . it consists of: a living room with kitchenette , double bedroom , one twin bedroom , two bathrooms. Two beds can be found in the living room or in the bedrooms.

At guests' disposal : reception, info point, wifi gratis, multilingual library with reading room, internet point, laundry facilities, outdoor space for drying clothes , laundry , swimming pool, children's pool , sun terrace with loungers and parasols, large park used as a garden (9000 sqm.) , eight areas for barbecue, children's playground (swings , slide, table tennis , soccer, bowling ), sports field adjacent to the residence ( soccer, basketball, volleyball ), parking.

The local area offers a whole range of opportunities for sports enthusiasts: from water sports (swimming, sailing, windsurf) to running (in the beautiful pinewoods of Cecina Mare, in the surrounding woods or on the quiet country roads) and cycling. The Etruscan Coast is an ideal training terrain for cyclists, who can take advantage of the alternation of flat stretches and hills (racing bikes) or try the mountain bike routes in the woods: the signposted routes in the “Macchie della Magona” Park, 7 miles from Villa Elena, are particularly recommended. The nearest golf courses are in Tirrenia (30 miles) and Punta Ala (45 miles). There are stables just over a mile away. At Villa Elena guests can play tennis, five-a-side football, basketball and volleyball adjacent the residence (on the multi-purpose pitch), table football, table tennis (two tables) and boules.

Originally known as Gualdistallo, this medieval hillside village, whose first human settlement dates back to 4-5,000 years BC, flourished under the Longobards, and later under the Gherardesca counts. The remains of the castle can still be admired today. In the village there are shops selling local produce, cafés, restaurants, a pharmacy and a bank. Guardistallo is an ideal base for day-trips to the most important tourist destinations in Tuscany: Florence 75 miles, Siena 50, Lucca 50, Pisa 35, San Gimignano 30, Volterra 20, Massa Marittima 45, Bolgheri 9, Casale Marittimo 1.5, spa towns (Casciana, Venturina), national parks, and the Isle of Elba. Pisa Airport (served by Ryanair) is 35 miles away.
